This Privacy Policy explains how PlayGoOn ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the PlayGoOn mobile app and website (the "Service"). By using PlayGoOn, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, and password, which you provide when you create an account.
• Profile information — your chosen sport (tennis or pickleball), skill level, and profile photo if you add one.
• Location — your device location, used to show nearby players and courts and to match you with games near you. You can turn location access off in your device settings, though some features won't work without it.
• Game activity — matches you create or join, messages you send to other players, and session results.
• Usage and device data — basic technical information such as device type, app version, and crash logs, used to keep the app working reliably.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and profile.
• To connect you with nearby players and let you schedule and play games.
• To send notifications about match requests, messages, and games.
• To keep the Service secure and to improve how it works.

How your information is shared

Other players can see your public profile (name, photo, sport, skill level) and your approximate location on the map when you are active. We do not sell your personal information.

We use trusted service providers to run PlayGoOn, including Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage) and Google Maps (location and map features). These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms.

Your choices

• You can edit or remove your profile information in the app at any time.
• You can disable location access in your device settings.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@playgoon.com.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we are required to keep it for legal reasons.

Children

PlayGoOn is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date above.
