This Privacy Policy explains how PlayGoOn ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the PlayGoOn mobile app and website (the "Service"). By using PlayGoOn, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, account ID, and sign-in provider. Authentication credentials are processed by Google Firebase Authentication; PlayGoOn does not receive your Google or Apple password.
• Profile information — your sports, skill levels, roles, biography, home court, coach details, profile photo, and other information you choose to add.
• Location and court information — your device's precise location when you grant permission, plus courts and locations attached to profiles, availability posts, games, and lessons. We use this information to show nearby players, coaches, courts, and activities.
• Activity and social information — availability, bookings, games, groups, friendships, invitations, match results, rankings, tournament activity, and favorites.
• Messages and safety information — direct, group, game, and support messages, plus blocks and reports submitted through our safety tools.
• Photos — profile photos you choose to upload.
• Device and notification information — push notification tokens, app version, platform, and technical request information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and profile.
• To connect you with nearby players and let you schedule and play games.
• To send notifications about match requests, messages, and games.
• To provide rankings, history, social features, coaching, and tournaments.
• To enforce our rules, investigate reports, prevent abuse, and keep the Service secure.
• To operate, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.

How your information is shared

Other users can see information you make available through the Service, including your public profile, sports and skill levels, activity markers, group or game participation, and match history. Location shown to other users is tied to courts or activities rather than a continuous public trail of your movement.

We use service providers to operate PlayGoOn, including Google Firebase for authentication, databases, storage, and backend functions; Google Maps Platform for maps, places, and court search; Expo for app updates and push-notification delivery; and Apple or Google when you choose their sign-in services. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the Service, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information, share it with data brokers, or use it for cross-app advertising or tracking.

Your choices

• You can edit or remove your profile information in the app at any time.
• You can disable location access in your device settings.
• You can control push notifications in the app and in your device settings.
• You can block or report another user using the in-app safety controls.
• You can delete your account and associated personal data in Settings. You may also contact support@playgoon.com for help.

Data retention

We keep information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, PlayGoOn deletes or anonymizes associated personal data across its active systems. We may retain limited information when reasonably necessary for legal obligations, fraud prevention, safety, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements.

Children

PlayGoOn is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date above.
